Best Mobile Apps For University Students

With the new academic session about to get underway, I have been researching some of the most useful, productive and digital tools for university students. Thanks to new technology, student life can be much easier as there are hundreds of apps to help with everything from optimizing student studying, time management, and note-taking apps to fully-fledged word processing software, email on the go, and animated educational tools.

1.) STAYONTASK

StayOnTask

Distraction is one of the most common and biggest issue amongst students. There are several apps out there (like SelfControl) that allows you to block certain websites for a set amount of time to enable you concentrate fully on your studies and avoid sporadically checking social networks or your email. However, should you remember a very important message or information to send to someone at a time when this “stubborn” app blocks you, then there apps like: StayOnTask. Stay On Task is a simple, unobtrusive way to improve your focus and get your work done. It checks up on you to make sure you’re doing your work and not loafing. A random timer means you can’t predict when it will check on you. Perfect for all students or anyone who needs to stay focused while doing independent work (especially when there’s an available internet connection).
